Use of the Apps

The Apps are intended for personal use. You agree to use the Apps only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Apps complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Some Apps may offer optional in-app purchases or auto-renewing subscriptions.

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the time of purchase or at the end of any free trial period.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
• All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by applicable law.

If an App is discontinued or support for an App ends, some or all features, including paid or subscription features, may cease functioning or become unavailable.

Data and Privacy

Our Apps are designed to prioritize your privacy.

Depending on the App and the features you choose to use, data may include trips, mileage records, locations, notes, photos, Health data, or other information you choose to store.

Unless otherwise stated, this information is stored locally on your device and, where applicable, may synchronize through your personal iCloud account. We do not collect, store, or have access to this personal data.

Some App features may interact with Apple or other third-party services as part of normal operation. These services may receive limited technical information, such as your IP address, device information, or other metadata necessary to provide their services.

Location, Motion, and Mileage Tracking

Certain Apps use location services, motion sensors, and other device capabilities to detect, record, or estimate trips and mileage.

Location tracking and automatic trip detection occur only when enabled by you and when the necessary permissions have been granted through your device settings.

Trip detection, GPS tracking, and mileage calculations are estimates and may not be accurate in every circumstance. Accuracy may be affected by factors including:

• GPS signal availability
• Buildings, tunnels, or weather conditions
• Device hardware limitations
• Battery-saving modes
• Operating system behavior
• Motion sensor performance
• User settings

You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all recorded trips and mileage before relying on them for tax, reimbursement, business, medical, charitable, or any other purpose.

Certain features, including background location tracking and automatic trip detection, may increase battery usage.

Background processing is subject to iOS system limitations and cannot be guaranteed.

Apple Health

Some Apps may integrate with Apple Health.

If you choose to enable this functionality, the Apps may read or write Health data solely to provide requested features.

Health data is accessed only with your permission and remains under your control. We do not collect, store, or transmit your Health data.

Third-Party Services

The Apps may integrate with Apple services and other third-party services to provide functionality such as subscriptions, cloud synchronization, metadata retrieval, or other features.

For example, LP Addict uses the Discogs API to retrieve public music metadata. Use of this functionality is subject to Discogs’ own terms and policies. LP Addict uses Discogs’ API but is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Discogs. ‘Discogs’ is a trademark of Zink Media, LLC.

We do not control and are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of content or services provided by third parties.

User Content

You may create, import, or modify content within the Apps, including text, images, notes, or other information.

You are solely responsible for any content you create, import, or store, including ensuring that you have the necessary rights to use that content.

We do not review, monitor, or store user-generated content.

Permissions and Device Access

Certain features may require access to device capabilities, including but not limited to:

• Location Services
• Motion & Fitness Activity
• Apple Health
• Camera
• Photos
• Files
• Notifications
• Media Libraries

These permissions are used solely to provide the requested functionality and can be managed at any time through your device settings.

Backup and Data Loss

You are responsible for maintaining backups of any information you wish to retain.

We are not responsible for the loss of data resulting from device failure, accidental deletion, iCloud synchronization issues, operating system updates, or other circumstances beyond our control.

Safe Use

Do not interact with the Apps while operating a motor vehicle except where permitted by law and safe to do so.

You are responsible for complying with all applicable traffic laws and for maintaining your full attention while driving.

Tax and Legal Disclaimer

The Apps are provided as recordkeeping and productivity tools only.

Nothing within the Apps constitutes tax, accounting, financial, or legal advice.

You are solely responsible for determining whether any recorded mileage or information qualifies for tax deductions, reimbursements, business expenses, medical claims, charitable deductions, or any other reporting requirements.

You should consult a qualified professional regarding your individual circumstances.

Intellectual Property

The Apps and all related content, including design, logos, and software, are the intellectual property of Justin Willemsen.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Apps without prior written permission.

Termination

We may suspend or discontinue any App at any time without prior notice.

Upon discontinuation, some or all features may become unavailable.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Apps are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

We do not guarantee that the Apps will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, or available at all times.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Justin Willemsen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Apps.

This includes, without limitation, damages relating to lost data, lost profits, missed mileage, inaccurate trip records, tax consequences, reimbursement claims, or business interruption.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Apps shall not exceed the amount you paid for the applicable App or subscription during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Any changes will become effective upon posting an updated version with a revised Effective Date.

Your continued use of the Apps after any changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
